After several decades in the sports industry, initially with Nike and then at the Great Run Company, I know what a special place the finish line is. A moment of celebration, of triumph and achievement, reward, emotion and the culmination of all that hard work.

It applies to so many walks of life… that moment when we get over the line.

Having reached my personal finish line at the Great Run Company’, I’m proud of what I have achieved. Britain’s biggest mass participation event, the incomparable Great North Run, is one of the many highlights of a varied, challenging and enjoyable time there.

A time that gave me incredible work experiences not only in mass participation running events, but also in campaigns around football, golf, cricket, track and field and swimming.

Now I am enjoying new business adventures.
